ashcroft act as asset managers for the 30 acre mixed use properties centred around The Moor, one of Sheffield’s most important shopping streets.
The properties have suffered from delays in regenerating the whole area and the initial task was to produce a viable business plan, arrest the continuing decline of the main thoroughfare and reduce the significant levels of irrecoverable outgoings.
In tandem a complete overhaul of the service charge structures has been instigated and a branding consultant appointed to start the process of restoring The Moor to its historic prominence.
Part of ashcroft’s mandate is to lead negotiations with the City Council for an extended groundlease and the substantial upgrading of the public realm, an essential pre-requisite for any redevelopment.
